Hi Raquel, What are some attractions, shows or activities my 3-year-old son might enjoy? It will be his first visit to Walt Disney World this fall. Thanks for your help!

    Hey Courtney!

Thank you for the direct question!

My son is 4, so I know how important it is for 3 year old boys to have a great time at Walt Disney World!

Here are a few of our must-do attractions, activities and shows, based on my son's reactions:
    1. The Barnstormer - This was a great first roller coaster for him, even though I was nervous, he had a blast and had a slight melt-down until we got back in for another ride!
    2. Mickey's PhilharMagic - I admit I was concerned that he might not enjoy it because of the 3D/4D effects, I was wrong. He laughed and talked to the characters on the screen the whole time.
    3. Fireworks - A great choice for us, because he was just in awe of the colors and music, I do not think that he noticed the loud booming sounds.
    4. The Pirates League - A definite must-do for any little pirate. He talked so much to the Leagues veteran pirate, and was just giddy as she transformed him into Jake from Jake and Never Land Pirates. My daughter was transformed into an Empress.
    5. Disney Junior - Live on Stage! - One word... Outstanding! My son and I saw the show together while my husband and daughter went to experience other thrills. He loved getting up to dance and see the characters from Disney Junior that he knew.
    6. Side Show Games Arcade - It sounds strange, but on another occasion, it was just my son and I, so I took him to the Side Show Games Arcade at Disney's Boardwalk Resort. I could not believe how much he enjoyed it, and yes there were a few games he could play and enjoy.
    7. Movies Under the Stars - You can guarantee that the movie will be appropriate and being outside at night, will let you son feel like a "big boy".
With just a bit of planning, the true "Pixie Dust" will be seeing the smile on his face!

Have a magical time planning, and let me know if you have additional questions!
