Hi, where can you do the rapunzel lantern photo op as I cant see it on the map, and what are the times please? Also is there a stables to see the Disney horses at all? Thanks

Hey, howdy, hey, Sophie! Thanks so much for coming back to planDisney with some more great planning questions! I'm happy to chat with you today to help make your upcoming visit feel like the best day ever, as Rapunzel herself would say!

Sophie, the Rapunzel lantern photo experience at Magic Kingdom Park is one of my favorites! Since you've also got a dream to see the floating lanterns gleam, you'll want to head over to Fantasyland at or after dusk (weather permitting) to find the Disney PhotoPass photographers who will be available to capture your photo with the lantern (it's warm and real and bright!) The experience is in the area between "it's a small world" and the Haunted Mansion, just outside of the Rapunzel-themed bathrooms. While you're in that area, be sure to check out all of the Disney details that make that area one of the most magical in the park! From the paintings on Rapunzel's tower to the hanging lanterns overhead, it's the most magical bathroom on Earth!

Next up, let's talk about visiting the Disney horses at Tri-Circle-D Ranch at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! Here, you'll have the opportunity to see a variety of horse breeds from Shetland Ponies to Clydesdales - with over 90 of the happiest horses on Earth calling this "neigh"- borhood their home, it's the perfect way for animal lovers to get up close and personal with these magical creatures! The horses are located at two different spots - the stable near the Settlement at the campground welcomes guests between 10 AM and 5 PM daily. This is where guests are also able to experience pony rides and carriage rides. This area of the resort is easily accessible by boat from Magic Kingdom Park. The other section, Trail Blaze Corral, is at the main entrance to the campground. This is where horseback riding reservations usually depart from, but at this time, note that horseback riding is temporarily unavailable.

Sophie, I hope now you see the light and can use it to make some special memories on your vacation! Since you're visiting during the spooky season, be sure to also read up on all the tempting treats that will be waiting for you at the parks and resorts this fall! I've got my list of can't-miss snacks for my next visit, and I'm sure you'll find some that you won't want to miss on yours! If you have any other questions as you count down to the magic, come on back to planDisney and let us know!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
