Hello, Carys! It's great to have you sail back to planDisney. Thanks for visiting us again.
How wonderful that you can set sail from a port close to home! One of the highlights of a Disney Cruise is the opportunity to meet and
interact with beloved Disney characters. Whether in designated meet-and-greets or during special events, spending time with my favorite Disney Pals brings an extra dose of magic and joy to my day. It's like stepping into a fairy tale brought to life on the high seas!
As a Rapunzel fan myself, I’m happy to share that she typically joins the
Royal Gathering of Princesses. You can secure your spot for this special meeting 30 days before sailing. However, there are numerous chances to meet not only princesses but also pirates, superheroes, and even "The Captains" – referring to Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie, of course. But, you can meet the ship's captain, too! Check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for specific times and locations once onboard.
Finding Flynn Rider can be a bit challenging; he’s always hiding from the palace guards. You can catch a glimpse of him in
"The Golden Mickeys." This dazzling show is one of three Broadway-quality performances awaiting you in the Walt Disney Theatre. Depending on your dinner seating, you'll either attend the later performance after dining or enjoy the earlier one before your meal.
As your cruise nears its end, don't miss the "See ya real Soon" character sendoff in the lobby atrium on the final night. It's your last chance to bid farewell to your beloved friends—or, at least, share a heartfelt hug until the next reunion onboard. Whether you're a seasoned sailor or a first-time cruiser, our planDisney crew is here to make your voyage as magical as can be. Please stop by again, Carys!
SEAS the adventure!
