Welcome back to the
Disney Parks Moms Panel, Pamela, thank you for your question.
I love how you are thinking about all these little extra magical touches for your upcoming vacation, I too believe, it’s all in the details.
Cinderella Wishing Well, appropriately named after Cinderella Castle,
Magic Kingdom Park, is located in an alcove along a quaint little pathway leading to and from the right side of Cinderella Castle (if viewed from the hub of Main Street, U.S.A.) and Tomorrowland. It is there that you can make your special wishes.
Cinderella Wishing Well is intricately adorned to tell a story. Look closely at the sides of the wishing well and you’ll see the mice and birds attempting to make Cinderella’s dress for the Ball. Disney Legend Blaine Gibson takes credit for the design and sculpting of this wishing well.
Cinderella’s Fountain sits proudly behind Cinderella Castle, just to the left as you exit the back of the castle, beside Castle Couture. Many toss a coin and make a wish there as well. If you bow down to take a drink from the water fountain, you’ll notice that the mosaic crown backdrop sits perfectly over Cinderella’s head. This is one of many pleasurable Disney Imagineering details.
Do bring a few coins to toss into the fountains, Pamela, and I hope all your wishes come true. We look so forward to assisting you again in the near future. Thank you for your loyalty.
Magical wishes to you~*~
