Hiya, Dayton!
That is a terrific question. There are a limited number of
theme park reservations available for any given date. On the regular
theme park reservation availability calendar, a \ slash on a date means that park reservations are all taken for that date for both Disneyland Resort theme parks. The good news is that does not necessarily mean that those dates are forever unavailable. Other Guests may need to change their plans. Up until 11:59 PM the night before their reservations, Guests may cancel their existing park reservation. That frees up their existing
theme park tickets to have new park reservations booked and linked to them.
planDisney Advisory: Note that the symbols used on the
Magic Key Access Calendar are slightly different. On the calendar used by Disneyland Resort
Magic Key holders, the 🚫 no entry symbol is used to indicate the reservations for that date have run out. And the Magic Key calendar uses the \ slash to indicate that a date is permanently blocked for the selected level of Magic Key pass.
Tony’s Tip: If you are interested in visiting the Disneyland Resort on a date when it appears that reservations have run out, I recommend checking back frequently. It is not uncommon to see other Guests cancel their reservations, making them available to you. Also, if you want to find additional park reservation availability, I recommend considering a stay at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels. Guests of these on-site hotels have access to
theme park reservations exclusively for hotel Guests through their "
My Hotel Reservations" page.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Dayton.
