I ran my first race ever with the half in January at WDW, but the lack of entertainment the last four miles made it extra challenging for me. The Wine and Dine looks like a better course, how's the entertainment work out at night? Do pictures come out ok?

    Hi Merry!

First, congratulations on your half marathon!  That's an amazing achievement!

I totally understand your issue.  I am a runner that likes to be entertained, too!  The park time during the January Half Marathon is such a rush, that sometimes the last few miles on the road can be hard to keep up your excitement.

That being said, the Wine and Dine Half Marathon is my absolute favorite race.  I love running at night, and I love that the course goes through three parks, which means more miles with entertainment.  My favorite part of the course is when you run up the Streets of America in Hollywood Studios.  The Osborne Family of Dancing Lights are turned on, and Christmas music fills the air!  I am getting goose bumps thinking about it. There is definitely more time inside the parks, and the last few miles include running through Hollywood Studios, then over to Epcot.

So, while I love running all of the runDisney races, the Wine and Dine is definitely my favorite course and race.

I hope this helps you!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
