Hello! I ran in the Disney World Half Marathon during the first week of January. I am also signed up to run the Princess Half at the end of Feb. How do you keep up your training in between races? How long should my long runs be in between each race?

Hi Janna!  That is a great question!  I have been figuring that out for myself recently.  I also did the Disney World half marathon, and then the Tinkerbell half marathon in Disneyland three weeks later.  In between those two races, I basically just did the three weekly maintenance sessions that Jeff Galloway recommends with one semi-long run each weekend.  Now, for the Princess, I am following the remainder of his program that I have linked above.  I think it's fine to tweak his training programs a little to fit your schedule.  But basically, I would just keep doing the shorter runs at least three times a week and a long run once on the weekend.  I am also a big believer in resting up the week of the race, so definitely don't push yourself in that last week!  Good luck to you and I hope to see you at the finish line!
