If rains does the park close ? Or parks hrs ? Can we go in person and change it for another day?

Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Jose. We're so glad you stopped by with this question for us. It looks like your visit is just around the corner, so let's get to your question to make sure you're ready.

Although Southern California is typically known for its sunny skies, it does see an occasional rainstorm every now and then. My husband and I recently visited during one such rainstorm - an atmospheric river, as a matter of fact. Rain or shine, the theme parks typically stay open for their regular hours; however, there have been times (although rare) when they will reduce hours and close early due to weather. My advice is to keep an eye on the Disneyland app for the most up-to-date hours of operation. On rainy days, you will also notice that some of the attractions will be closed for safety reasons. The best place to check for attraction closures is on the Disneyland app. The information can be found by navigating to the map within the app, ensuring that "Attractions" is selected at the top, and then tapping "Show List" towards the bottom right corner. You'll see a list of all attractions and any that are currently closed will be noted.

Although it was quite a wet day, we had the best time. We found places to eat indoors (there are plenty of these) to warm up and dry off and enjoyed a lot of indoor attractions. Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room is one of our favorite attractions and we made sure to visit for a break from the rain (although it seemed that we couldn't escape the rain in there either). We're also from the Pacific Northwest and no strangers to rainy conditions; we truly enjoyed just wandering around the parks under our umbrellas.

I'm looking at the forecast for the day of your arrival, and right now, it looks like it will be sunny. Should that change and you'd like to change your theme park reservation for another day, you absolutely can. The quickest way to do this is on the Disneyland website. Click on "Theme Park Reservations" found under the heading "My Disneyland" toward the top right of the page. Next, click the button to "Make or Modify Park Reservations." Finally, find the reservation for the day you'd like to change and click the link to "Modify Reservation."

Well, Jose, I hope this has been helpful. Most of all, I wish you a most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Whether it's under an umbrella or with your sunglasses on, I just know it's going to be supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
