    What if it rains

    Hi Kelli,

Rain is always a part of summer trips to WDW, and we never let it stop our fun!  I check the weather forecast carefully each day of our trip and then if there is a possibility of rain, we carry rain ponchos with us (which can be purchased at WDW, too). When the rain starts, we just put on our ponchos and keep going.  Keep in mind a few rides may need to temporarily shut down to keep guests and cast members safe, but typically everything else will remain open.  And many guests decide to leave the parks, so you may find shorter lines!  I'd also encourage you to think carefully about your footwear; tennis shoes can become icky if they get soaked.

If you click here, you can read Disney Mom Kim's advice for which parks are best to visit and to avoid during rain.

So in a nutshell, don't let the rain stop you!
