If it’s raining only 40% do the fire works get canceled and the parade?

    Hello, Brittania!

I don’t blame you for wanting to have the best chance of viewing the "Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular and A Christmas Fantasy Parade. I mean, who doesn’t love a magical evening spectacular that includes snow or a parade featuring Santa Claus himself?

I absolutely love enjoying a fireworks show or parade at the Disneyland Resort. However, weather conditions could cause a show to be delayed or canceled. Safety is paramount after all. But I understand the potential disappointment we feel if the weather should interfere with safely launching pyrotechnics or allowing performers to dance down Main Street, U.S.A.

My understanding is that the final decision to proceed with a fireworks show or parade depends on conditions at the moment of the show. So a chance of rain that applies broadly to a whole day may not specifically be relevant to a given show. As long as conditions are safe, fireworks could potentially launch even on a day that previously saw rain or may yet see rain after the show time has concluded. If rain is in the forecast, my best recommendation is to take along some faith, trust, and at least a little bit of pixie dust. Oh, and maybe pack a poncho too! However, I hope things go as scheduled during your visit.

Come rain or shine, I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Brittania!
