    IT IS GOING TO RAIN!! We are going to WDW next weekend and it is going to be raining EVERYDAY! Will this ruin my trip? It is true that the closed the park if it is rain? We are going for my 5 year old bday and going for the 1st time. I could just cry.

    Hi Jedaya!

    Please stop worrying.  The parks don't close if it rains.  I live 45 minutes away from Disney World, and this is the rainy season.  It's not raining all day, it happens usually in the evening (around 4 or 5pm), and passes quickly.  I can't tell you how many times I've been to Disney in the rain....just get yourselves some rain ponchos and put them in your bag when you go to the park.  You can also buy them in the parks.

    Now, what does get cancelled if it rains are the fireworks and parades.  If there is a lot of lightning, some of the rides may close down until the lightning passes.

    I promise you that you're trip will be wonderful.  Besides, it's a week away and the weather forecasts down here change constantly.  It's hot here right now, and you may wish for rain!
