I have quite the dilemma! I was FINALLY able to get a reservation at Be Our Guest, but it occurs during the MVMCP. Do you think it is worth it, spending the money ($300) for the party, and missing 1-2 hrs on dining? This is our 1st time at DW!! Any advise?

    Hi Cheryl!

Thanks so much for popping in to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. You do have quite the dilemma!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my favorite special events at Walt Disney World Resort and I would definitely say that it is worth the extra money to attend. This magical evening will leave you full of holiday cheer AND free cookies and cocoa! There are so many extra things to see and do during the party plus you'll find shorter wait times for some of the more popular attractions. So, I'm not sure that I would want to spend so much of the party time eating dinner. I know how hard it can be to get a reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant but if it were my choice, I would spend the time at the party. You can always keep trying for an earlier dinner reservation or maybe a breakfast or a lunch reservation. Then you would be able to do both!

I hope this helps with your decision. I'm sure you'll have a great time regardless of what you choose. Have a magical vacation and happy planning!
