What is the quietest time at Walt Disney World in the fall. We were there in 2008 (Sept 12-20) it was the best week since there were no lines & no waiting just about every where and everyone was especially pleasant. Would love that experience again.

    Hi Antonia,

It looks like you stumbled upon the "best" time to visit Walt Disney World.  After Labor Day, most schools have started up, and families are busy getting their kids back into the school routine.  It's a great time to visit Walt Disney World; the weather is still summer-like and the crowds are low.  If you travel towards the end of the month, you can even get tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
