How quickly can we get from guardians of galaxy Epcot (assuming a 9:30 am virtual queue, slot) to Hollywood studios? My son has managed to secure an 11:25am slot to build a sabre over in galaxy’s edge, but we all want to try to ensure a board pass at GoGCR

    Hi Steve!

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is one of EPCOT's newest and most thrilling attractions. This immersive roller coaster features state-of-the-art technology and an incredible soundtrack, taking guests on an intergalactic adventure with the Guardians of the Galaxy. To experience this ride, you must either join a Virtual Queue or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane, as there is no standby line available at this time.

The Virtual Queue opens twice daily, at 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM, and guests must use the My Disney Experience app to join. It's important to note that securing a Virtual Queue spot does not guarantee an immediate return time. Return times are distributed based on demand and availability. For example, during my recent visit, my group joined the Virtual Queue at 7:00 AM and received a boarding group number of 76, but we weren't called to return until approximately 2:00 PM.

If you are determined to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind early in the day, consider purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane for a specific time slot, ideally around 9:00 AM. This way, you have a guaranteed ride time without relying on the Virtual Queue.

Once you've enjoyed Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, getting from EPCOT to Disney's Hollywood Studios is relatively straightforward. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can use the Complimentary Resort Transportation. The most efficient route is to walk to the International Gateway entrance of EPCOT and hop on the Disney Skyliner.

    Here are the steps:

Walk to the International Gateway entrance of EPCOT.
Board the Disney Skyliner to the Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort station.
Transfer to the Skyliner line heading to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

This trip once on the Skyliner typically takes around 20-30 minutes, depending on the time of day and crowd levels. Once you arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios, the walk to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge takes about 5-10 minutes, depending on your pace.

It's recommended to budget around 90 minutes for travel to ensure you have ample time to get to your destination when using Resort Transportation. This should give you plenty of time to navigate through the parks and reach your destination without feeling rushed.

My biggest tip is to try not to over-commit yourselves! Try to take the time to enjoy the magic without being rushed!

I hope that you and your family have the best time!
