Hiya Shannon,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m not sure what is bringing you to
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, but I hope it is one of the incredible
dining options there. One of my favorite character dining locations,
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White, is there, and I love stopping for dinner whenever our itinerary allows. Not only is the character experience incredible, but I often dream about that Smoky Mushroom Bisque.
Now that I am sufficiently hungry, let’s chat about how to get from
Hollywood Studios to Wilderness Lodge. The quickest complimentary way to get to Wilderness Lodge is the
bus. Once you exited the theme park, you would just walk past the Skyliner station over to the bus terminal and then hop on the bus for Wilderness Lodge. In my experience, the buses run every 20 minutes (give or take), so if you catch one at the right time, your wait will be minimal. I mentioned that this is the quickest complimentary option, but there is another option that could be a little quicker. The
Minnie Van Service, which is my favorite way to get around, can be a really quick and direct way to get around Walt Disney World Resort. It is operated through Lyft and driven by Cast Members, and one of my favorite things about it is that if you have little Mouseketeers who ride in car seats, each Minnie Van can be equipped with up to two car seats (included in the Minnie Van). Pricing is subject to change, but if you want it quicker, then that is what I would choose.
I hope this was helpful, Shannon. Before I let you go, one last thing about the Minnie Van Service. During peak times, such as park opening and closing, the Minnie Vans can get super busy, which can add to longer wait times. While you cannot schedule a ride in advance, just make sure to take those peak times into account when setting up your pickup in the Lyft mobile app. If you need anything else, please come back and see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
