Hey there, Michelle! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Your trip to the most magical place on earth is in just a few short weeks now. I bet you are getting so excited!
It sounds like you have a really fun day planned during your vacation, I happen to love both Magic Kingdom Park and Disney Springs. To get there, I'd probably use the walkway that connects Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Contemporary Resort. When you are exiting out of Magic Kingdom Park, head toward the left and you will see the sidewalk and from there it's a pretty short walk. If you didn't want to walk that far because you're tired from being in the parks all day, you could also hop on the
resort loop monorail and get off at the first stop which also happens to be Disney's Contemporary Resort. As you are exiting Magic Kingdom Park, the monorail will be on your right-hand side. Once you are at the resort, look for the bus stop area (you won't miss it if you are walking and then if you take the monorail just head outside) and take the
bus marked for Disney Springs. Keep in mind that right at closing time, a lot of other people are also leaving the theme parks so transportation can get pretty backed up. I'd anticipate there being a line for the monorail at that time. I think time-wise you may be cutting it pretty close, but I'd still probably give it a try. Being at Magic Kingdom Park right at closing time is so fun! The only other idea I have for you to cut the time down just a little bit more is when you are walking over to Disney's Contemporary Resort, using a ride-share app to request a car to take you over to Disney Springs. Depending on the wait time for a car, this might get you there just a little bit faster. I'd probably play that one by ear but just a thought to keep in the back of your mind.
If you end up leaving Magic Kingdom Park early, there are so many fun things to do at Disney Springs. In fact, most nights of my vacations to Walt Disney World you can find me there enjoying the live music and dining at some really great places. You could do some shopping and relax with a beverage listening to live music before your dinner reservations.
Michelle, I hope this helps you get to Disney Springs as quickly as possible. If you have any other questions before your trip, please come back and
ask me. Have fun!
