What is the quickest way to Disney Springs from The Grand Floridian? And what is the usual travel time?

Hi Amber! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You mentioned two of my very favorite things in this question…Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and the brand new Disney Springs. There is so much awesome and magic lumped into these two areas of the Walt Disney World Resort that just the mere thought of them makes me want to book my next vacation right now!

There are two ways to get from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Disney Springs. The first is if you have your own vehicle you could drive there. However, whenever I am visiting Disney I always rely on the Complimentary Resort Transportation. Typically buses run approximately every 20 minutes to and from your Resort hotel. Once onboard the bus it is approximately about a 15-20 minute drive from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Disney Springs. It is very important to keep in mind that your travel time may vary based on traffic, amount of people using transportation at any given time, and weather. It is recommended that whenever you use the Complimentary Resort Transportation for travel throughout the Walt Disney World Resort that you allow 90 minutes for travel.

I hope that you have a magical time! If you have time be sure to check out Morimoto Asia or The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs. They are on my must do list for my next visit!
