    Which is quicker, take monorail or boat?

    Thanks for your question and for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    The answer to the question of "monorail versus boat?" really depends on from where you are talking. I will assume that you are asking about arriving at Magic Kingdom as that is the only Disney theme park accessible by both of those Disney transportation options. I will further assume that you will be travelling from the Ticket & Transportation Center either across (by boat) or around (by monorail) Seven Seas Lagoon to Magic Kingdom.
    I believe that it is both easier and faster to board a ferryboat across Seven Seas Lagoon. The boats are huge and more guests can be accommodated for the journey. PLUS, I like going up on the top deck and being outside to take in the view as I approach Magic Kingdom. It really sets the mood.
    From the Ticket & Transportation Center, the "express" monorail is a fun way to get to the park, but it carries less guests and may not be as quick an option in my opinion.
