Would it be quicker for me to get in my car and drive from the magic kingdom over to hollywood studios and then go home after that. I have a 7:25pm lightning pass to the star wars ride.

Welcome to planDisney, James! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. It sounds like you've got an exciting day ahead! Magic Kingdom in the morning and a Star Wars adventure in the evening really sounds like making the most of the magic.

So, let's talk logistics. If you're planning to end your night at Hollywood Studios after planning your 7:25 PM Lightning Lane for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, then yes, driving your car over there is definitely the quickest and easiest option, and here's why:

If you leave your car at Magic Kingdom, you'd have to take a bus from Hollywood Studios back to Magic Kingdom after the park closes. The tricky part is that the buses actually drop you off at the Magic Kingdom entrance bus loop, not the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), where you parked your car. After a long, fun-filled day, that's a lot of extra steps when you could already be on your way home!

On the other hand, if you drive from Magic Kingdom to Hollywood Studios, you can park in the dedicated parking lot, enjoy your Star Wars mission, and then head straight out and drive home when you're done. Much easier, much quicker, and way more relaxing at the end of the night.

So go ahead and make the jump to hyperspace and enjoy the galaxy far, far away without having to solve that late-night travel puzzle. Have an amazing day park hopping, and may the Force (and some comfy shoes) be with you!
