For quick/disney Dining Plan, when my 9 year old orders a kid's meal, is he eligible for a "speciality drink", like a slushie or milkshake? Or does he have to stick to the milk/juice/water that "comes with" his meal?

    Hi Eunji,

Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for asking us another question, my fellow Canadian!

I was so thrilled to hear that the Disney Dining Plan was making a comeback earlier this year. It’s a great way to have some “cost certainty” for a visit to Walt Disney World Resort, which can be a pretty big deal for those of us who have to deal with a pesky exchange rate.

From what I understand, milkshakes and other “speciality drinks” are often included with your Table-Service and Quick-Service dining entitlements. Only one will typically be allowed (no refills) so if your kiddo is a slushie lover like mine, make sure that they take it easy on their drink while he waits for his dinner. Some locations may offer refills, however, and some beverages may be excluded from dining plans. I encourage you to speak to the Cast Member who will be serving you at the dining locations that you’ll be visiting if you have any specific questions about what is/isn’t included with your meal.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
