The quick svc dining plan was included in our 14 night stay in June. I know we're not going to need a desert with every meal so can we save the desert credit for later or do we have to get it at the time of our meal? Does a whole pizza count as a meal? THX

    Hello, Jennifer!

This is a great question!  (And you might be surprised by my suggestion...)  In short, you don't have a separate "dessert" credit, so you can't save the credit for later.  Cast Members will only be able to see how many Quick-Service entitlements you have left on your reservation (you can see this, too, on your receipt), so there's no way to "save dessert for later."  Or is there...?

So as not to let our Quick-Service dessert go to waste (the food is usually so plentiful, that we don't always have room for dessert), we always bring quart and gallon-sized zipper storage bags, and order the dessert choices which are portable (i.e. cookies, single-serve, prepackaged chocolate cake, with a snap-shut lid, etc.).  Those dessert bags then go into our backpack for the rest of the day.  When someone needs a little snack before a show, or while waiting for somebody to finish shopping, out comes the dessert (grab a fork or spoon, if needed, when you pick up the food in the restaurant.)

If any of these little babies didn't get gobbled up throughout the day or evening, we bring them back to our Walt Disney World resort and use them as a little treat for bedtime, or while waiting for that one last person to be ready to go to the park (or the pool) the next day.

We don't feel as if we're wasting anything, and we get to spare those snack credits for items that can't be ordered for dessert at Quick-Service locations.

    Hope this helps!
