Quick ? for those that have stayed at Poly we're staying there for the 1st time We have booked a GV & we would like pool view with patio or balcony is there a specific longhouse (s) we should request Is there anything that we shouldn't miss seeing/doin

Hi Colleen!  There are actually two pools located at the Polynesian (Poly).  A themed volcano pool and a quiet pool.  The Samoa longhouse is located in between both pools.

Niue, Rarotonga and Tokelau also have views of the quiet pool and a short walk to the volcano pool.

Depending on what pool you'd like to have a view of, you may want to add a note to your reservation that includes "prefer patio or balcony; view of <your pool preference> pool."

You are going to LOVE the Poly.  There are events near the pool and in the lobby.  When you check in, you should receive a schedule of events.  You may want to try hula lessons or making a lei in the lobby.  I've also seen mousekeepers giving demonstrations on how to make towel animals.

You may want to read through the Polynesian fact sheet located on allears.net for more information.  However, my favorite site for anything Poly is the TikimanPages.

Have a magical vacation!  Diane  :)
