Bonjour and Bienvenue, Sandy!
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question about Disneyland Paris. It's always a joy to help a fellow American Mouseketeer make magic across the Atlantic, so let's talk
dining!
It sounds like we have more in common than just a love of visiting Disney destinations around the world. Like you, I'm no stranger to the benefits of ordering from the kids' menu during my magical vacations. Not only do the lower price points make meals more budget-friendly, but the smaller portions mean we can still enjoy a variety of
snacks — bonus points if they are Mickey-shaped!
As is the case at Walt Disney World Resort restaurants, ordering from the children's menu at
quick service dining locations throughout Disneyland Paris is a breeze, no matter your age. Some restaurants even offer a mobile ordering option through the Disneyland Paris mobile app known as
Click & Collect, which is a huge timesaver. At
table service restaurants, you'll find that each restaurant implements an individual children's menu policy at its own discretion. For example, some restaurants allow adults to order directly from the kids' menu, while others will provide an adult portion of an item from the kids' menu. Because of this, you'll want to inquire directly with your server for specifics at each restaurant.
Since it sounds like you're well-versed in Walt Disney World's dining policies, I wanted to make sure you were aware that when visiting Disneyland Paris, Guests of Disney Hotels are able to book tables (
make dining reservations) as soon as the hotel booking is confirmed, while all other Guests can make reservations 2 months in advance.
Oh, and I'd love to share one more tip before I bid you
adieu. I recently compiled
a list of restaurants whose menus feature American fare that you might want to look over before your visit. You just never know when you might find yourself in the middle of a chicken tender emergency!
I hope this was helpful, Sandy, and that you have an incredible time visiting Disneyland Paris. Don't forget to check out the
dragon that lurks beneath Sleeping Beauty Castle!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
