Welcome to planDisney, Laura! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question for you today before you take off for your trip to Walt Disney World Resort in just a few weeks. With a few changes to the Theme Park operating hours recently, I'm happy to walk you through what you might find open at the end of a long day of magic.
Even before some changes were implemented during
the phased reopening process, Quick-Service restaurants were usually among the first locations to close at the end of the day, sometimes even shortly before the Theme Park closed, and they've continued to be just as prompt in the last few months as well so you likely will not find any open after closing time when you're visiting next month. The same can be said for merchandise locations, which will also begin the process of closing up shop at the posted closing time. It's possible that you may find a few merchandise locations still open when you arrive for your dinner after the Theme Park closes, but they likely won't be open for very long after you get there.
One thing you will be able to do while you're in the Theme Park after closing is snap a few photos with no one else around! Those shots of Main Street, U.S.A. with the glowing lights and no other guests in sight are the things that dreams are made of, and this might be one of your only opportunities to grab a picture like that so make sure you have your camera ready when
dinner is over!
Have a magical day, Laura!
