Hiya there, Vernon! Welcome to planDisney!
Your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just around the corner! Before you know it, you'll be walking down Main Street U.S.A. with your favorite Mickey-shaped treat. Adventure awaits, Vernon!
You've stumbled upon one of my favorite topics, dining at the Walt Disney World Resort! I do consider myself a "Disney Foodie." I love trying new restaurants, quick-service dining locations, snacks and sweet treats throughout the parks, Disney Resort Hotels
and Disney Springs! You know how Pooh is on a never-ending hunt for honey? That's how I feel when hunting for new delicious bites at Walt Disney World!
Great news, Vernon. Most quick-service locations have both air conditioning and seating available. There are a few exceptions to this rule, like
Sleepy Hollow at Magic Kingdom Park, which does provide picnic tables but offers only outdoor seating, but with plenty of shade. At Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, the air-conditioned options are a bit more limited, but there are still plenty to choose from. Overall, the majority of quick-service spots do provide both, so you'll have options in every park if you need a little break from the heat and a place to rest!
Though everyone has their preferences, I'd love to share a few of my favorite air-conditioned spots with plenty of seating to help make your park days easier. In Magic Kingdom Park, my family loves
Columbia Harbour House. The food is very tasty and prepared quickly and there is lots and lots of indoor seating! At
Disney's Hollywood Studios, I'll always opt for
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. The theming is incredible, from the barrels you sit on to dine to the food options themselves, you'll be right at home on the planet of Batuu. At EPCOT, the options feel endless, but I do prefer
La Cantina de San Angel. The Tacos de Barbacoa are oh-so-yummy and early in the day, you can sit indoors. Not many people know about this little indoor seating gem, so you usually have plenty of space and even a little break from crowds. Finally, at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, your best bet for the "best of both worlds" is to opt for
Satu'li Canteen at Pandora or
Pizzafari, which offer indoor seating with air-conditioning.
Vernon, did you know that you can make your quick-service dining experience even more convenient by ordering ahead? Many restaurants utilize
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. Using your
My Disney Experience Mobile App, you can order food from many locations in advance. You'll choose from any open time slots, allowing you to order right from you phone and pick up the food at a pick-up window without waiting in line. It's as easy as Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!
Have a magical day!
