We have the Quick Service Plan for our upcoming trip. Do our 9 y/o twins have to order from the children's menu when using the plan? Or can they get an adult meal? Thanks!

    Hi Christine,

I am so happy you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your Disney Dining Plan question. Dining happens to be one of my favorite aspects of our Walt Disney World family vacations. We love trying new places as well as going back to our favorites.

According to the official guidelines and policy of the Disney Dining Quick Service Plan, "all children ages 3-9 must eat off the children's menu (if available)." I will say in our case, I have often been surprised at the portion of food that is considered a kid's meal. I hope this clarifies this for you.

Speaking of quick service, I thought I would offer a few of my top picks:
    • Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom - I simply love their lobster roll and New England clam chowder.
    • Flame Tree Barbeque in Disney's Animal Kingdom - They offer some of the best ribs I have ever eaten...and I'm from Texas!
    • Sunshine Seasons in Epcot - This food court offers some of the freshest variety of foods, some of which are harvested right there in the Land Pavilion.
    • Min and Bill's Dockside Diner in Disney's Hollywood Studios - Grab a chili cheese dog and enjoy some people watching on Hollywood Boulevard.

Have a wonderful time and enjoy making magical memories.

    Bon Appetit
