If you wish to upgrade your
Disney Dining Plan, you must make those changes at least 3 days prior to your arrival in Walt Disney World. The system needs time to upgrade your reservation, so if you wish to move from
Quick Service to the regular
Disney Dining Plan, give a call to (407)934-7639. When calling, have your reservation number handy. A friendly cast member will assist with the changes and let you know the cost to upgrade your package. If you are within 45 days of arrival, you will need to pay the upcharge during this process.
If you plan to have at least one table service meal per day (including character buffets) then I think the upgrade is a great idea. While I love many of the Quick Service options, sometimes it is nice to just sit a rest a while and enjoy a table service meal. To get the most out of your Disney Dining Plan (if you upgrade) make sure to have your
Dining Reservations made so you will be able to utilize all of your dining credits. Your dining credits will be available from the moment you arrive until midnight of the day you check-out.
