Hey Terri-
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The advice I am about to give you has been test for five years straight. Experts from Georgia have sacrificed many pizza sauce stained shirts and pants. Expectations have been set and verdicts returned. By park here are what my 8 and 11 year old experts say:
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to Pizzafari a colorfully mural decorated restaurant. Enjoy hearty meat, vegetable or cheese pizza options. Salad is available but “who would want that when they have pizza”, according to my experts.
Counter service pizza is not consistent at Epcot. Sometimes
Sunshine Seasons food court has pizza paninis or flatbread. Table service Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria pizza pies are baked in one of three ovens named after the volcanos Mt. Vesuvius, Mt. Edna and Stromboli. The pizza dough is made with water at the same pH as that in Naples, Italy, giving it an authentic taste. The experts enjoyed the pizza but the crust was "not their favorite." I thought is was delicious.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios tosses you into the famed Pizza Planet Arcade from Toy Story. You will even find the three-eyed aliens and “The Claw.” The experts enjoyed the atmosphere and the fact that the pizza was “the right size” for them.
Magic Kingdom Park is the home of the “Best Pizza in the World” according to my experts. We love getting a table by Monstro the whale at Pinocchio Village Haus where we can overlook the “it’s a small world” attraction. Another favorite spot is on the semi-private balcony overlooking Fantasyland. We love the cheese and caprese flatbreads as they are a must-eat every trip.
I hope this answer wasn’t to "cheesy" for you.
Enjoy making many Magical (and delicious) Memories!
