Hi Kristi! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! Let the countdown begin! You are less than a week away until you arrive for an unforgettable
Walt Disney World vacation! Let's dive into your question and help you get set for a magical stay.
As is the case for most table-service restaurants, outside food and drinks are not typically allowed. Guests are required to purchase food that is sold by the location where they are dining. However, you can always check with the sit-down dining location you are planning to eat at to see if any exceptions can be made. For example, if there is no option on the menu that your child will consume, there may be a consideration to allow a
quick-service meal to be brought for them. Again, I highly doubt this will be allowed, but it is worth asking the question.
Most
table-service restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort are very accommodating when it comes to dining. If there is an item on the menu that you want modified, they can typically accommodate many different types of requests. My daughter tends to be a picky eater, and there are many times when she does not find something on the kids' menu that she is willing to try. I highly suggest checking with the Cast Member taking care of you to see if there are any additional options. There was one time when they had an item that was not currently listed on the menu that they were able to serve that evening to help accommodate.
If you happen to be staying along the Disney Skyliner path, try snagging an Advanced Dining Reservation at
Sebastian's Bistro. This restaurant is located at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and can be easily accessed using the Skyliner. This is a family-style meal, equipped with vibrant and fresh dishes that are incredibly delicious. They also have kid-friendly options available as well.
Kristi, I hope you have a wonderful time during your stay!
