Hi, Angie!
Many of my favorite quick-service restaurants are in Disney California Adventure Park. You won’t have any trouble finding locations that serve up tantalizing fare both you and your kids will love.
My number one recommendation is to try
Flo’s V8 Cafe in Cars Land, which features classic American cuisine. My go-to meal is one of the home-style rotisserie classics, like the New York strip loin. If you’ve got room for dessert, their single-serving fruit pies are a unique treat. The decor is inspired by the timeless drive-up diners along Route 66. Take a seat on the open-air patio or in one of the bright, window-lined dining rooms to take in a spectacular view of the Cadillac Mountain Range as cars speed by on the Radiator Springs Racers attraction!
Another of my favorites is
Paradise Garden Grill, a casual eatery on the Paradise Pier Boardwalk. It offers a Mediterranean menu of beef, chicken and vegetarian platters with your choice of sauce and rice pilaf, cucumber salad and pita bread. Kids’ meals include a turkey-beef slider burger or peanut butter pita wrap.
My son loves
Taste Pilots' Grill, which serves gourmet burgers, ribs and chicken sandwiches along with chicken breast nuggets and mini burgers for kids. Budweiser, Bud Light and Karl Strauss Handcrafted Beer are available for adults. This 1950's hanger-themed restaurant is constructed of corrugated steel and decorated with real pictures and schematics from NASA!
Bon appetit, Angie. Please write back with any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
