Hi Michelle!
A Table Service meal is one basically defined as one where you would have a Hostess seat you at a table, and have a service (drinks OR meals) brought to you. This would mean that buffets qualify as a table service restaurant, not a quick service restaurant. I'd suggest making reservations in advance for Table Service restaurants - they fill up quickly!
Quick Service restaurants do not require reservations and are usually cafeteria style. This means you would order your food at a kiosk or counter, and either wait for it near that area or (very rarely) have it brought to the table.
If you'd like to use your quick service credit for breakfast, every Disney resort will have a restaurant where you can use your credit.
The
2013 Dining Plan brochure contains a listing of the Quick Service and Table Service dining locations.
Hope you have a great trip! If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to ask the Moms Panel. We love to help plan Disney trips!
