Hi Jim! Welcome to the Walt Disney World Resort!
You have asked me about two of my favorite things to talk about: Walt Disney World Resort and food! Since your trip is so close, you'll be dining on grits at "The Most Magical Place on Earth" in no time at all.
You'll find grits on the breakfast menu at many
food court locations in the Disney Resort hotels, but I will include a specific list of spots that have this tasty southern specialty on the menu currently. The Artist's Palate (Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa), Beach Club Marketplace (Disney's Beach Club Resort), Contempo Café (Disney's Contemporary Resort), Pop Century's Pizza Shop Quick-Service (Disney's Pop Century Resort), Gasparilla Island Grill (Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa), Good's Food to Go (Disney's Old Key West Resort), Landscape of Flavors (Disney's Art of Animation Resort), Pepper Market (Disney's Coronado Springs Resort), and Riverside Mill Food Court (Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside). I didn't find grits on the menus that I searched in the theme parks but keep your eyes open because the menus do change!
For grits with a little more flare, check out Roaring Fork in Disney's Wilderness Lodge (10-Hour Pulled Pork - Cheese Grits ... YUM!) or Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory in Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter (Cajun Grit Bowl with Shrimp ... yes, it IS as good as it sounds!).
And guess what? This isn't the first Disney Parks Moms Panel question I've answered about grits! If you decide you need more in your life, consider grabbing some
shrimp and grits at the Table-Service locations in this answer that I wrote earlier this year.
Enjoy your upcoming vacation, Jim! Happy dining!
Tabitha
