for quick service dinning plan in a place like Casey's Corner what is in a kids meal? what can kids chose for dessert at somewhere like Cosmic Rays same as the adult choices or different smaller choice? can you give me an idea of size of kids portions

Hi Sheena!  Thanks for coming back to the Moms Panel!  At counter service restaurants, like Casey's Corner in the Magic Kingdom that have no set children's menu, your child will choose one of the regular meals offered on their menu - so the portions would be very generous for a child.  At Cosmic Ray's or similar, your child will be able to choose any of the desserts offered there - there is no distinction between adult or child desserts.  I find kids portions to not be huge -  it really depends on what is ordered though. A burger, for instance is usually very generous in size, but chicken nuggets may not fill all the space in an empty tummy.  I would stand back and observe for a few minutes to see if you can see the portion sizes of some of the kids meals people are ordering.  That way you'll know if it will be too much or too little, depending on how hungry your child is.

Hope this helps, Sheena.  Please don't hesitate to ask me any more questions you may have.  Have a very magical day!
