    Are there Quick service dining restaurants in downtown Disney and on the boardwalk? The first day we are there, we will be just hanging out, swimming and exploring the areas around the actual parks. What places will apply to our dining plan?

    That sounds like a good plan you have in place, I love just relaxing and hanging out the first few days of my trips to WDW as well and Downtown Disney is one of my first stops too!  For all information about the 2011 Quick-Service Dining Plan and the participating restaurants as well as their locations can be easily seen by viewing this link of the Quick-Service Dining Plan Brochure (in pdf).   Have a wonderful time and enjoy the Dining Plan.
