We have the quick service dining plan and we have a 2 year old daughter. She eats a lot! We plan on purchasing kids meals during our stay. Can we do hers and ours in 1 transaction? Use our bands for ours and pay cash for what isnt covered by our plan?

    Hi Rachel,

Congratulations on your upcoming Magical vacation with your little princess!  Seeing Walt Disney World for the first time through the eyes of a child is such a special moment.  I remember each of my children's very first visits with great detail.  You are going to have the time of your lives!

Sure thing!  You may pay cash for any items not included on your Disney Dining Plan in the same transaction.  In fact if you have linked a credit card to your MagicBand, you may even use your MagicBand to redeem your meal or snack credits as well as pay for any items not included on your Disney Dining Plan.  Vacationing couldn't be easier now that My Magic+ has been implemented in the Disney Parks.

You may be in luck with regards to your daughter's appetite however.  I have found the quick-service meals to be quite large and I can easily split my meal with my own very hungry pre-schooler.  You might look at the meal portions first before ordering a complete kid's meal for your little one.

Have a MAGICAL vacation!  Please let us know if you have any further vacation planning questions.  We are always happy to help.

    Blessings,
