Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ashley!
It is a pleasure to answer your very first question. You must be so excited about your upcoming visit – just a few more sleeps and you will be at The Most Magical Place on Earth! By now you should have already made all your
FastPass+ selections,
dining reservations, and planned every aspect of your itinerary. I have to say that with so much to see and do, having a
Disney Dining Plan is one of the best ways to relax during your visit knowing all your meals are already paid for.
I also have a very adventurous eater at home, but my 8-year-old daughter has been very picky lately about her food when we travel. On our last visit to the Walt Disney World Resort I also thought that we were going to have trouble because of her sudden change in food taste, however, let me tell you that we were extremely surprised at how accommodating Cast Members were, even at Quick-Service locations. In some cases they were able to make changes and substitutions to certain meals, but please note that these are not guaranteed.
Talk to Cast Members at the Quick-Service locations you visit to make sure exchanging a meal credit for snacks is possible and how many snacks you will be entitled to. Remember that if you can actually make the exchange, it will have to be done all in one transaction so you will need to redeem the snacks at once.
The following Quick-Service locations at the theme parks worked well for my daughter:
Sunshine Seasons at Epcot,
ABC Commissary at Disney’s Hollywood Studios,
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café at Magic Kingdom Park and
Restaurantosaurus at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
I hope this helps you plan a delicious vacation for your family.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
