We have the quick service dining plan for a 7 night stay checking in August 17th this year. How much per person per day will it cost to upgrade to dining plan the next plan up?

Welcome to planDisney, April! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. I love the Disney Dining Plan, and I know you're going to enjoy the ease and convenience of it on your upcoming summer vacation. Let's talk about the process for upgrading and how you can find out the difference in cost between plans for your family.

The cost to upgrade from the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan to the Disney Dining Plan, which includes one Quick-Service meal and one Table-Service meal per night of your stay, does vary a bit depending on a couple of key factors. Most importantly, the ages of the guests in your party, since prices are different for adults and children. Since you're already set up with the Quick-Service plan, you've got a couple of easy ways to check the price to upgrade without committing to anything just yet:

First, log in to your My Disney Experience account, go to "My Plans," and click the "Modify Reservation" link next to your booking. From there, you'll be able to walk through the steps of switching your dining plan, and the system will show you the price difference before you finalize anything, so it's a great way to explore your options without locking anything in.

If you'd rather talk it through with someone, you can absolutely call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, and a friendly Cast Member will help you out! They can see all the details of your booking and let you know exactly what it would cost to upgrade.

Either way, you'll be able to compare your options and decide if the Disney Dining Plan makes sense for your travel party. If you're planning to enjoy a few character meals or other sit-down experiences, upgrading could definitely be worth it!

I hope this answers your question, April, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
