Bon Appetit, Helen! Welcome to the planDisney table, where we are happy to dish out magical answers for all of your vacation planning questions! With so many
delicious options to explore on both the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan and the Disney Dining Plan, I understand wanting to try as much as you can while you are visiting!
Helen, you are more than welcome to make a table service reservation and order according to your appetite. The only exception to this would be for dining experiences that only offer a prix fixe menu or buffet-style menu, which are a set price per person. If you are dining at a restaurant that offers a standard menu, you won't have any issue enjoying appetizers and/or desserts or even sharing a few items from the menu.
Some of my favorite table service restaurants that offer great menu items perfect for sharing and sampling are
Steakhouse 71 inside of Disney's Contemporary Resort (I love the chopped salad and the Espresso Martini Crème Brulee!) and
Tony's Town Square Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park. On my most recent visit, my daughter and I shared an order of the fried mozzarella with our tablemates and then split a Caesar salad and an entrée since we had sampled some of Tiana's beignets and gumbo earlier in the day!
Helen, it's likely that you visit will fall during the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. The pop-up food markets are a great way to utilize some of your snack credits for some unique festival treats! Be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog as your trip gets closer to get a full list of the menus for these outdoor kitchens so you can plan ahead for all of the snacking you will want to do! In the meantime, if you have any other planning questions before your visit, come on back to
planDisney and let us know!
Here's to magic, memories, and some delicious meals along the way!
