Does the quick service dining plan still come with a dessert?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Debbie!

In my opinion, the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan doesn’t get the credit it deserves! I enjoy Quick Service meals as you can eat at your convenience without having to play 180 days in advance, and you get to spend more time enjoying the Disney Theme Parks and Disney Water Parks! With this Disney Dining Plan, each Guest three (3) and over will receive two (2) Quick-Service meals and two (2) Snacks per night of your reservation, as well as a refillable drink mug! The Quick-Service meals include 1 Entrée and 1 Non-alcoholic Beverage (or Alcoholic Beverage, for Guests 21 and older - 2018 plan only). As you can see, there are no longer any desserts offered with the Quick-Service meals, but you could tentatively use one of your snacks as a dessert! I love this new plan because I am often SO FULL that I can’t even enjoy my dessert! This gives me the option of FULLY enjoying my cupcake (or Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar) an hour or so AFTER my lunch or dinner.

I’m sure you have already mapped out your favorite culinary destinations, but I would like to offer you my suggestions for my “go-to” Quick-Service Restaurants at each Disney Theme Park:

Magic Kingdom Park: Columbia Harbour House. Try the fried shrimp, yum!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park: Satu'li Canteen. You can create your own healthy and delicious bowl here!

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons. Did you know that many of the ingredients used here are grown directly in the Living with the Land gardens?

Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Backlot Express. Say hello to Dark Side Chicken and Waffles!

Have a magical vacation and bon appétit!
