For the quick service dining plan, my boyfriend and I wanted to know if they credits have to be used per day basis or do you have a certain number to last for the holiday and use as you like? Thanks

Isobel, welcome, welcome, welcome to planDisney. I am so glad you sent us this question from across the pond. We are all excited about the return of Disney Dining Plans and cannot wait to dig into some delicious food without having to pull out a credit card to pay for each meal. It will be so nice to have the meals paid for before we arrive.

Disney Dining Plan meal credits are allocated per NIGHT of stay and may be used each day or throughout the holiday until they are depleted. So if you stay three (3) nights you will have three (3) entitlements to use however you want during your holiday as long as they are used for the correct items. Here are the Disney Dining Plans available to Guests with a Disney Resort hotel stay as of January 9, 2024.

    • Disney Dining Plan (standard) - per every night of stay each Guest receives 1 Quick-Service meal, 1 Table-Service meal, 1 Snack or Nonalcoholic beverage, and 1 Resort-Refillable mug
    • Disney Quick Service Dining Plan - per every night of stay each Guest receives 2 Quick-Service meals, 1 Snack or Nonalcoholic beverage, and 1 Resort-Refillable mug
For example, your holiday is for three nights and you are on the Disney Dining Plan (standard). On the first day, you decide to eat at three table-service restaurants. Your plan allows for three table service entitlements to be used whenever. All your table-service credits will be depleted on the first day and if you want to eat at another table-service restaurant you will need to pay out-of-pocket.

It is important to try and plan your table meals well in advance so you know how many table service entitlements you will need on which days. As of now, advance dining reservations may be made 60 days in advance of your Disney Resort hotel check-in date.

planDisney Pro Tip: Carefully look over all the snack options when you are ordering breakfast. Some items may be combined to form a meal and not use a quick-service or table service credit.

Isobel, I hope this clears up any confusion. I am available to answer follow-up questions when you write me back directly.

Enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories.
