    Can you use a Quick Service Credit at a Table Service Restaurant and pay the difference out of pocket?

    Hey there, Makayla, and welcome back to planDisney! I'm thrilled that my fellow Panelists and I have become your trusted source for your vacation planning questions! It's awesome that you'll be using a dining plan during your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort - I love dining plans because they help me save time and money, and it makes my vacation feel more all-inclusive!

    You can't go wrong with either the Disney Dining Plan or the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan is perfect for guests who want to be more flexible and on-the-go during their vacations. I love the Disney Dining Plan because I get really excited about table service meals - the curated dishes, Character Dining opportunities, and a chance to relax and recharge are all great reasons for me to grab an Advance Dining Reservation for a meal with my family.

    I reached out to a helpful Cast Member about using a quick-service meal at a table service restaurant and paying the difference in price, and I was informed that this is not possible at this time. Happily, you'll find lots of amazing dining locations to satisfy your tastebuds throughout Walt Disney World Resort. From the Disney Theme Parks to Disney Springs to the Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, there are over 200 thoughtfully-themed restaurants to try. 

    One of my family's favorite things to do during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is to schedule a "break day" at our Resort in the middle of our vacation. During that day, we take time to explore our Resort, swim at the pool, and dine at a new-to-us restaurant. During our most recent trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth, we enjoyed a lovely brunch at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort. The views, food, and Character greetings were out of this world! I highly recommend the Wood-fired Steak and Eggs!
