Which quick serves are best in your opinion? Will be traveling in July with 11 and14 year old and are on the dining plan for 8 days. I have already made dinner reservations for our sit down meals but could use some quick serve suggestions! Thanks!

Hi there Lynn! It sure sounds like you are planning a delicious Disney vacation!

Due to dietary restrictions in my family as well as the fact that I'm a vegetarian, I've done a lot of pre-trip research on quick-service locations. I also like to look for restaurants that offer larger meal portions (for sharing) or out of the ordinary selections in order to maximize our dining plan credits.

I'd recommend that you check out the unofficial website www.mousesavers.com for getting the most value from your counter service meals. On the main page, in the top left hand search box, simply type in "quick service credits". Another unofficial website www.allears.net has an extensive list of Walt Disney World Resort menus so that you can peruse the options at several dining establishments based on your tastes.

My family and I have found that the Disney resort hotels all offer amazing counter service choices. So keep in mind that some of the yummiest menu items and varieties may be a boat or monorail ride away from one of the theme parks you're visiting that day.

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions my way in the days leading up to your July trip!
