Hi, quick question!!!! I was just wondering if they do any thing special for Christmas season on the ships? Also if they do, then when do the activities usually start???? Thanks for your help!!!

    Hi, Karen!

Holiday magic will deck the halls and add sparkle to the decks for guests who sail with Disney Cruise Line beginning this Thanksgiving and continuing through to the New Year. All three ships will spread an abundance of holiday cheer -- from traditional Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts to "snowflake" sightings and seasonal caroling.

Some of the festivities from past years which may be experienced on this year's holiday cruises are:

    • A nearly 3-deck-tall tree in the atrium lobby, where "snow" flurries fall and a tree-lighting ceremony occurs.
    • A Christmas Day visit from Santa Goofy, with surprises for all the kids.
    • Holiday caroling.
    • Special family time for decorating gingerbread houses and other Christmas crafts.
    • A reading of "The Night Before Christmas" by Mrs. Claus.
    • Traditional holiday feasts in Disney's restaurants.
    • Multiple faith and interdenominational holiday services.
    • A ship-wide party to ring in the new year and a New Year's Day tailgate party.

So, come celebrate the season on the high seas where you'll truly experience a holly jolly vacation like no other.  DCL Cruise Director Clayton can tell you more about what to expect on DisneyCruise.com under "Videos," and come back here to ask me other questions you may have before your voyage.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
