Hello there, Jessica!
Welcome to planDisney. We’re so glad you’ve taken the time to visit us with your great question. I’m delighted to see you’re planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. Because all Guests are required to have a
park reservation for entry into the theme park, it is highly recommended that you do this in advance prior to arrival. Park reservations are limited and can run out, especially on the weekends or holidays. Main Entrance ticket booths are open, and you’re welcome to still line up and purchase your theme park tickets there as well. However, in order to enter the parks, you’ll still need to make theme park reservations. Be sure to check out the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar prior to buying your tickets at a Main Entrance ticket booth.
With the introduction of
Magic Key pass on August 25, 2021, it is speculated that more Guests will visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks. It’ll be another good reason to purchase your tickets and make theme park reservations online in advance so to ensure spots don’t run out.
If you have additional trip-planning questions, Jessica, please don’t hesitate to visit us on
planDisney again. We’re all EARS!
See ya real soon,
Kiki
