    Hi There quick question. Staying at SOG next Aug. I know they are not owned by Disney but do they accept disney gift cards or disney dollars. Daughters will have cards and will likely find something at SOG gift shop.

    At this time, the Shades of Green Resort does not accept any form of Disney "currency" - novelty dollars or gift cards.

    While Shades of Green is, as you note, on Disney property, and does share certain things in common with other Disney resorts (i.e., Extra Magic Hours), the resort uses Army MWR systems to process card payments, while Disney facilities use a dedicated system provided by Chase to process Disney-branded gift cards and novelty dollars.

    This means that Shades of Green only accepts credit/debit cards bearing the MC/Visa/AmEx/Discover logos at the front desk/on-site restaurants.

    A notable exception is the Exchange store at Shades of Green accepts Exchange-branded cards (as well as their in-house "Star Card") for payment of retail merchandise.
