Hi Kristy,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for bringing your question to us. My son’s first trip to
Walt Disney World Resort was when he was right around your daughter’s age, and it is such a magical age for a Disney trip! You are going to have so much fun, and make the best memories.
I’m pleased to report that you don’t need to worry about bringing coloring pages and crayons, as, in my experience, all Table Service restaurants provide them. My children love these pages, as they are Disney-themed, often different from restaurant to restaurant, and include activities that suit a range of ages. Something I like to do is bring some sheets of stickers to give them a little extra something to do, as those little attention spans can be short. The great news is that almost everyone around you has little ones, and the Cast Members at Walt Disney World love to interact with your little ones and keep them happy during mealtime.
For
Quick-Service locations, you won’t typically find the coloring sheets and crayons. These meals tend to be quicker, and I’ve never felt I needed an activity because we’ve just been so happy to take a break, have a drink and some food, do a little people (and bird, if you’re outside) watching, and then move on to our next exciting Walt Disney World experience.
Kristy, enjoy every minute of your magical trip with your daughter!
