Hello i just had a quick question , i was going to purchase tickets for dec however the starting park is only showing dca . I was purchasing a park hopper ticket and i wanted to know if i would still be able to go to the disney side after 11

Hello, Kayla! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you stopped by with your ticket question for us!

Whether it's your first visit or you are a frequent visitor, there's no better time to visit than during the holidays! You've asked a great question. If you purchase a park hopper ticket and make the reservation for California Adventure because that's the only park available right now, you will be able to park hop starting at 11:00 a.m. that day. Park hopping is subject to availability, but it's not often that a park reaches capacity. I definitely recommend grabbing your tickets as soon as possible, as theme park reservations are starting to book up! If Disneyland is where you are hoping to start the day, once you purchase your ticket and make your reservation, you can keep checking to see if new reservations open up. If they do, you can modify your reservation to Disneyland Park.

Our family really loves a California Adventure day during the holidays. Disney Festival of Holidays is always a must-do for us! We love making a list of the foods we want to try from the Foodie Guide and dividing and conquering with a Sip and Savor Pass or two to grab a bunch of the bites from the marketplaces. Then, we will meet up at a spot near some entertainment to try everything together. We can't wait to do that later this month!

Kayla, thanks so much for stopping by!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
