Quick question about the new rules requiring a hotel reservation to board buses at Disney springs. Are Swan and Dolphin considered on property and able to board buses still?

Hey there, Abby! Welcome to planDisney - so glad you found us! It's always a good idea to have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation to look forward to, and I'm happy to hear you'll be headed "Home" this fall. Let's get down to business with the information you need!

As you have seen, there has been a LOT of chatter online recently regarding the updated transportation rules for boats and buses departing from Disney Springs. There are now checkpoints at the entrances to the boat and bus queues, and Guests must show that they have a confirmed reservation at a Disney Resort Hotel, a dining reservation, or a booking for an Enchanting Extras experience.

Abby, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels are both included in the resorts classified as on-property. I confirmed this with a Cast Member to make extra sure!

The Swan and Dolphin have a fantastic location, allowing Guests to walk to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios, as well as the many great restaurants at the Boardwalk and the area resorts. My current obsession is Rosa Mexicano, which is conveniently located at the Dolphin. The food is amazing (tableside guac, anyone?), and the service and vibes are impeccable!

I hope this information is just what you needed to set your mind at ease for your September trip, Abby! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, and please come back anytime if we can help with other questions.

    See Ya Real Soon!
