Hello, Crystal! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!
The Disneyland Resort is great to visit all year-round, but Halloween Time and the Holidays are two of the most exciting times to visit the parks!
Halloween Time is going on now through October 31, 2018, and the
Holidays officially begin on November 9, 2018, and run through January 6, 2018. Both special events feature distinctive décor around both parks, seasonal overlays on select attractions, and lots of treats and specialty food to enjoy. So it really depends on which holiday you and your family likes best!
Another thing to consider is the amount of time you need to plan and budget for your trip. A visit over Thanksgiving provides you with ample time to plan for dining reservations which can be made 60 days in advance and to budget for tickets and lodging. If you were planning to stay at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels, there is a
promotion being offered right now that provides up to 25 percent off on select stays from October 28 through December 20. When you stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you have access to my favorite perk:
Extra Magic Hour every day of your trip. Starting your days early allows you to get so much done and having Extra Magic Hour means you have even more time to experience all the fun and magic.
I hope this helps. As you continue to plan your adventure, please stop by again with any other questions you may have!
