hi, quick question, we are going in january 2011 and we are not staying on disney property, and wondered if we are still able to book any activities within a resort, ie:horse riding at fort wilderness? thanks

    Hi Claire,

You do not need to be staying on Disney property in order to enjoy the different activities available at the WDW Resorts.  I have stayed on and off-property and still enjoyed the horseback riding at Fort Wilderness Campground (it's one of my most favorite things to do at WDW!).  The horseback riding adventure is a 45-minute guided tour through the wooded areas at Fort Wilderness, it's very pretty and if you are lucky you will likely see some interesting wildlife, like my favorites....the Armadillos!  Have a funtastic time.

    Best wishes,
    Brigitta
